{Big Brother C and Baby Girl S Session}

“Brother and Sister, together as friends.  Ready to face whatever life sends…

…Joy and Laughter or Tears and Strife,

Holding Hands tightly as we dance through life.” ~Suzie Huitt

You are My Forever Friend.

I’ve been blessed to have a brother like you.

You’re my pal, my buddy and my best friend too.

These adorable siblings {my nephew & niece} were so fun!

They were both happiest when holding a football! Love it! So cute.

Having a Sister is like having a Best Friend for life!

{C’s 4th Birthday Celebration}

We celebrated our son C’s 4th Birthday; by having a Birthday Barbeque (per C’s request), with Hot Dogs, Watermelon and Homemade Potato Salad. It was yummy.

We had an orange carrot cake, (his favorite color is orange), and sang “Happy Birthday to you” to C. He loved it, blew out his candles, and ate the first bite of his orange cake.

Then he opened his presents, and C loved them!  It’s always fun to watch their excited expression, as they are opening their new, fun treasures and surprises!

Another Birthday surprise for C, was that he was able to go to his Mommy’s (my) ultrasound. Afterwards he said, “I’m getting a baby brother for my birthday!” It was very exciting for him (to find out which gender his new sibling would be), on his special day!

Happy 4th Birthday to our handsome little man C!  He really loved his new piggy bank.

May the Joy that you have been in our lives, come back to you on this special day! We wish you a very Happy Birthday!

We decorated with blue and yellow pouf balls, colorful pennant banners, pumpkins, and a blue tablecloth.  C’s favorite color is orange, so he really wanted his cake to be orange (we had a carrot cake). He also calls his hair orange, even though his Mommy calls it red. 😉

Sending wonderful Birthday wishes, for your special day!  We love our little man C, so much!  We are so happy to have this helpful, spunky, happy, little boy in our family!

Our son C, had a very special 4th Birthday!

{K’s 6th Birthday Celebration}

We celebrated our daughter K’s 6th Birthday. We made Kate a yummy birthday breakfast.  We planned a pretty simple birthday party; because we had recently moved (a week earlier) into our new home.

We put up banners, puff balls and beautiful decorations for her birthday. We also had Elsa and Anna (Frozen) plates and napkins. We made her a special birthday dinner: Pancakes, Eggs and Sausage (as requested).

We had an oreo ice cream cake for her, and sang her “Happy Birthday”, and K blew out the candles, and then ate some. The kids always want to make sure that the birthday child gets “the first bite” on all of the birthdays, so she did. The cake was very yummy.

On this special day, as you celebrate your birthday…here’s wishing you a whole lot of happiness, and sweet surprises! Happy Birthday!

Life should not only be lived, it should be Celebrated! Happy 6th Birthday!

Then she opened her presents. K loved them!  Especially her little pink piggy bank.

We brought cupcakes to her class at school, the next day (it was the weekend). They sang to her there too.  We love our darling little princess K!  So glad to have this sweet, giggly, fun, little girl in our family! 🙂

Our daughter K, had a wonderful 6th Birthday! 🙂

{E’s 10th Birthday Celebration}

We celebrated our son E’s 10th Birthday. We made him a special breakfast, before school. We put up special decorations, the night before, of banners, puff balls, and awesome decorations for his birthday. We took cupcakes to school for his birthday. They sang to him there.

We were in transition, moving into our new home a few days before his birthday; so we kept it simple. After school, we ate a special dinner with him, Eggo waffles with fruit and whipped creme, and bacon (as requested). We also had a Dairy Queen m&m icecream cake, and we sang to him “Happy Birthday”.

E blew out the candles, and ate some of his cake. The kids always want to make sure that the birthday child gets “the first bite” on all of the birthdays, so he did. It was very yummy.

Today you are YOU, that is truer than TRUE. There is NO ONE alive, who is YOUER than YOU! ~Dr. Seuss

Then he opened his presents. He was so excited and loved them!

We have a tradition, where we take pictures of us, (the parents), with each of our children on their birthday.  We love our handsome little man E!  We are so happy to have this helpful, sweet, fun little guy in our family.

Our son E had a wonderful 10th Birthday Celebration!
